Melvin J. Gravely

Mel is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian with the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) and Certified Parliamentarian-Trainer with the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP). Mel is the past Education Coordinator for the Ohio Association of Parliamentarians. Mel is also the Past Parliamentarian for the Wirenius Unit in Columbus, Ohio. He is a certified trainer with the Institute of Human Service and Ohio Human Services Training System. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration. In addition to working with boards and committees, Mr. Gravely is a respected speaker and trainer for head start and foster parent associations. He has worked with such organizations as Franklin County Children Services, Lucas County Children Services, Stark County Children Services, Hamilton County Children Services, California State Providers Association, California State Foster Parent Association and five National Foster Parent Conferences. Mel is a licensed foster parent for Franklin County Children Services in Columbus, Ohio and Treasurer with National Foster Parent Association (NFPA).
