NFPA in partnership with the Illinois Foster and Adoptive Association Assocition are making BIG plans for the National Foster Parent Association's 42nd Education Conference! We are looking forward to hosting attendees for a weekend of learning, networking and fun.
The 2012 NFPA Conference, set in a world-class resort just west of Chicago, will offer everything needed for families to return home informed, inspired and refreshed!
Attending the NFPA Annual Education Conference will provide you with:

solely to foster and adoptive parents alike *Approximately 18 Hours of Training Credits

social workers, casemanagers, therapists,
juvenile justice staff, etc

After January 1, 2012 registration fees: $200 for NFPA Members, $250 for non-members
Conference registration cancelations will be accepted, in writing, until May 15, 2012. There is a $25 administrative fee for any cancelations.
Includes a breakfast buffet, 2 lunches and a continental breakfast

Call For Presenters
Workshops will be scheduled in the mornings and afternoons on Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17, and the morning of Monday, June 18. Workshops are 1 1/2 or 3 hour sessions maybe conducted by a single presenter/co-presenters, panels and/or round table discussion format. Please note that the deadline for the Call for Presenters has been changed to January 15, 2012.
Please note: Due to the large number of proposals that we received, we are no longer accepting workshop proposals for the upcoming NFPA Annual 2012 Education Conference. We urge you to continue to watch the website for notification to submit workshop proposals for the 2013 Conference in Long Beach, CA.

The conference will be held June 15-18, 2012, at the beautiful Oakk Brook Hills Marriott Resort just outside Chicage. Two major airports, O'Hare and Midway, are just 15 miles from the resort. Great room rate of $80 per night.
